Shreve Land takes a dual approach to project management. The project manager makes personal visits to the job to oversee progress and address field conditions. Simultaneously, the manager administers the owner contract and subcontracts using an online Project Management (PM) System. The PM system provides up-to-date information to the project team, including the owner, architect, and engineers. Shreve Land's approach to project management enforces the concept of teamwork by allowing all parties to stay current with all job activities.
Shreve Land has partnered with design firms to provide the owner an alternative approach to the traditional design-bid-build delivery system. This experience exemplifies our ability to successfully participate on a design build team. The estimating staff works closely with the owner, architect, and engineer in preparing a construction budget and schedule based on preliminary drawings and historic pricing information. Each building trade line item is reviewed to assure cost savings in the beginning design phase of the project.
